Martin, Flanagan find victory lane at Tri-State Speedway

POCOLA, Okla. -- George Martin of Fort Smith, Ark., picked up his third USRA Modified feature win of the season Saturday night during the 6th Annual Tillman Evans Memorial presented by A to Z Wholesale Warehouses in Alma, Ark. Last week's winner, Randy Henson, settled for the runner-up finish, with Brent Holman, Martin Hemphill and Patrick Goodnight rounding out the top 5.

In USRA B-Mod action, Lonny Flanagan of Rudy, Ark., made it back-to-back wins for his second feature win of 2014. Second through fifth were Camden Perry, Todd Broyles, Chris Hawkins and Dawson Graham.

Next Saturday, Aug. 30, is another regular USRA Weekly Racing Series points race at the Tri-State Speedway, and then the JRT Trucking “Battle of the Borders” USRA Modified special takes place Thursday-Saturday, Sept. 4-6.
