Last chance to see great racing at I-35 Speedway this season

WINSTON, Mo.—Last chance! Last chance to see the I-35 Speedway drivers in action before the 2015 race season comes to a close. Last chance to earn those all-important national points in the USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods. After the 2nd Annual National Championships were completed last week the points battles nationally shape up for some great end of season racing. How many of these national drivers will end up at I-35 Speedway on Saturday evening, October 24? Be with us to find out!!!

The USRA Modifieds have experienced a leader change as Jacob Gallardo has overtaken Terry Schultz of Sedalia, who has led most of the year. Gallardo will be competing in New Mexico at his home track. Robbie Reed, an I-35 Speedway late-season regular, sits in fourth, Matt Dotson sits in eighth and track champion Dennis Elliott is 12th. By competing this weekend at I-35 Speedway any of these drivers will have the opportunity to overtake positions ahead of them.

The USRA B-Mods have been led by early season I-35 Speedway winner Andy Bryant and he takes a commanding lead into the final weekend of point battles. Track champion Tim Eaton sits 16th in the national points. Several local drivers could be in competition also looking to move up their national positions including Dakota Foster, ninth in national points, Shadren Turner 12th in national points and Chad Clancy who sits sixth in national points.

The USRA Stock Car class could be just as interesting as Mitch Hovden leads the way. However, sitting in second is Brett Heeter, a local racer who has competed at I-35 Speedway this season. Track champion Dean Wray is fourth in the national points battle. Other local racers in the national points battle include Thomas Roberts in 12th, Jeff Dixon 16th and Jon Boller 18th.

Along with these national points battles, track championships will be decided in the Grand National and Hobby Stock classes. So don’t miss out on your last chance to see local dirt track racing as we complete the 2015 racing season.
