I-35 Speedway welcomes Bowling to announcers booth

WINSTON, Mo.—Officials at the I-35 Speedway welcome Carley Bowling to the announcers booth as she will join Rick Staley in calling all of the racing action and intermission activities a the track.

“Carley Q” is 15 years old and very active not only at the race track but in school and the community as well. When it comes to sports, she can do it all: basketball, volleyball, track, softball.

She even wrestled for one year until the boys got mad she was kicking their butts.

She is in the National Honor Society and Honors Choir at Richmond R-XVI High School and will be singing at Graceland in March, also recording a CD at Sun Studio with her music class.

In her spare time, Bowling volunteers at the Humane Society where she gave her own birthday money to buy supplies for the animals.

Her hobbies include going to Worlds of Fun, riding rollercoasters, spending time with family and racing. Also on days off from school, Bowling volunteers at nursing homes and helps with the beauty shops bringing patients to and from their appointments.

Bowling said she is looking forward to this opportunity and the I-35 Speedway welcomes her to the racing family.
