WHEATLAND, Mo.—After a thrilling Open Wheel Showdown to kick off the big month of May at Lucas Oil Speedway, the Budweiser Weekly Championship Series returns on Saturday night.

Nichols Media Inc. and Sport Boats USA team up to present Round 4 of the Weekly Championship Series with the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds featured, running a $750-to-win, 25-lap feature.

Also on the program will be Carson's Corner NAPA Auto Street Stocks, the Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mods and the ALPS Food Stores ULMA Late Models.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7 and racing at 7:30.

This is the first of two Weekly Championship Series programs before the 24th annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 Presented by protecttheharvest.com rolls into Lucas Oil Speedway May 26-28.

"What a great month of racing, starting with the awesome show that that the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Cars, the Boss Chassis WAR Sprints and the Lucas POWRi Midget Series put on in our Open Wheel Showdown," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said. "Now we're ready for two great weeks in our four regular classes with each of those off to terrific starts to the 2016 season."

The USRA Modified division has seen four different winners so far this season after Matt Dotson's feature victory on April 30. Defending track champion Jeff Cutshaw of Bolivar has one feature triumph and leads the 2016 points chase by six over Jason Pursley of Hermitage.

J.C. Morton of Springfield has yet to win, but consistency has landed him on top of the B-Mod points chase by six over Kris Jackson of Lebanon. Jackson has one win and one second-place so far, but wound up 14th as Andy Bryant came home the winner on April 30.
