Racing resumes Saturday at Central Missouri Speedway

WARRENSBURG, Mo.—Drivers and fans alike anxiously await the return of racing at Central Missouri Speedway this weekend on KMMO FM 102.9 Radio Race Night after excessive wet weather forced the cancellation of last week’s special events racing. Weekly championship racing returns Saturday night with action in the USRA Modified, Street Stock, B-Mod and Pure stock divisions.

In looking across the USRA Modified landscape, CMS currently leads in the highest average car count for tracks sanctioning with USRA. Through the first portion of the 2016 season, the track is averaging 28 cars per week! After the abysmal weather of last weekend and other recent events falling to less than desirable weather, drivers are itching to return to action for the weekly payout of $1,000 to win and $160 just to make the starting grid of the Modified main event plus a shot at valuable USRA points with a full field of cars. Kevin Blackburn of Fulton, Missouri currently leads the charge in the track Modified standings.
