Come see your favorite drivers from last year, test their cars before the first night of racing on Friday, May 12.

Many of the cars have new paint schemes for the 2006 season. The new class for the season -- the USRA B-Modifieds -- will be making their first appearance at the track.

The grandstand concession stand will be open, serving the always favorite Pizza Ranch pizza and Pepsi products.

A track work day is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, starting at 9 a.m. Work will begin on installing the new fence and wheel fence on the south side of the track. If enough members can help, the complete stretch of corners 3 and 4 could be finished. There are also a few other small miscellaneous jobs that could be started on. Noon Lunch will be provided for everyone that helps.

Attention Hobby Class drivers: A clarification on the engine rules option has been made. Please go to the Hobby Class rules and review the two options.

Sportsman, Hobby and B-Modified cars: During Practice Night, May 5th, you may have your engine "sealed" stating that it has been test for the 9:1 compression rule. All testing and sealing will be done at the track this night. If you have any questions, please call Corey Johnson - 507-220-8175 or Brian Postma - 507-836-8422. This is not a mandatory requirement.

At the General Membership Meeting, the restrictor plate for the Sportsmen cars has been removed from the rules. However all engines must meet the compression test and vacuum test.
