Central Missouri Speedway, Lakeside Speedway combined banquet fast-approaching

WARRENSBURG, Mo.—Central Missouri Speedway and Lakeside Speedway are just days away from celebrating driver accomplishments from the 2016 season at the second-annual combined championship banquet on Saturday, Nov. 5.

The combined banquet provides drivers and their closest supporters with a chance to relish in their successes of the recently wrapped season and to share the night with fellow racers and track personnel from 6:00 pm to 12:00 midnight.

Ticket-ordering deadline is this coming Saturday, October 29, 2016. Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased by contacting Susan Walls at 816-229-1338 (CMS) or Karen Darling at 660-229-0952 (Lakeside). The banquet will be held at Elks Lodge #2509, 100 NE Brizendine Rd, in Blue Springs, Missouri.

For special lodging information call the Grain Valley Comfort Inn at 816-847-2700. Be sure to ask for the Racer’s Discount rate of $75.99 for a king-size bed or $79.99 for queen-size. The Courtyard Marriott Blue Springs at 1500 NE Coronado Drive. in Blue Springs is also offering a Racers Discount. Call (816) 228-8100 for additional information for the Courtyard Marriott.

The dinner menu for the banquet features a buffet style menu with Lasagna, Chicken Alfredo, Italian Sausage Casserole, Spaghetti/Meatballs, Salad, Bread Sticks, and Desserts. A cash bar will be available and a live DJ and Karaoke music.

The top ten drivers in USRA Modified, Street Stocks, B-Mods, and Pure Stocks will receive their awards and prize money from CMS. For Lakeside drivers, the top ten in USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, and USRA B-Mods will be recognized while the top five in Grand Nationals and Factory Stocks will also be recognized. There will be chances for door prizes throughout the program.
