Dirt will fly in 2017 at Badlands Motor Speedway

As Badlands Motor Speedway continues the search for a new ownership group, officials are confirming six key dates in 2017 that will happen regardless of who owns the legendary race track.

Tickets for these events will all go on sale Saturday, March 4, at 10 a.m. with several ticketing options.

The condensed, high-energy schedule opens with the Folkens Brothers $100,000 Silver Shootout on Saturday, May 13, and the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will make their annual return for a two-day show July 1-2.

Two Late Model Mayhem events will be part of the 2017 schedule with dates on Sunday, June 4, and Sunday, Aug. 6. The Late Model Mayhem events will feature the Midwest Late Models, Late Model Street Stocks, Holley USRA Stock Cars, Out-Pace USRA B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks.

The June 4 event will be a USRA Iron Man Challenge event.
