U.S. 36 Raceway pads purse for Friday opener


The place to be this Friday night, April 28, is the U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn, Mo., for opening night of the 2017 racing season. More than $3,000 has been added to the purse throughout all classes and all positions.

Payouts for this Friday's season opener:

USRA Modifieds: $850, $525, $300, $250, $220, $200, $180, $160, $140, $120, and $110 to start.

Out-Pace USRA B-Mods: $500, $300, $225, $180, $140, $125, $115, $110, $95, $85, and $80 to start.

Holley USRA Stock Cars: $400, $250, $190, $170, $140, $125, $110, $100, $90, $80, $75, $70, $65, and $60 to start.

We would like to thank Lake Road Warehouse, Cameron Engines, Boller Motorsports, Timberline Trading and A to Z Billboards for the added purse.

Work is being completed to make everything perfect for our debut and we ask that drivers and fans alike give us a try. Let's pack the grandstands to capacity and the pits as well and remember kids we will be giving away a girls and boys bike during our short Intermission.

Speakers in the back pit area have been repaired and everything is a go for the biggest opening night in dirt track racing.

Tech official Dale Eaton has requested that drivers and teams arrive a little early as the gates open at 4 p.m. and all cars must pass pre-tech inspections.

Come hungry as the concession stand will be in full swing will all your favorites, and the beer will be ice cold and ready to quench that thirst. Grandstands have been repaired and painted with a family section painted white where there will be no alcoholic beverages or smoking allowed.
