BRANDON, S.D. -- Andy Kotek picked up his first win of the season during Thursday night Thriller action at Husetís Speedway.

Andy Hofmeyer started on the pole of the USRA B-Modified feature.

He was leading each lap and had got out to a huge lead.

On lap eight his engine started to smoke and by lap nine the caution was brought out and he took his car to the infield.

This handed the lead over to Andy Kotek, racing for the first time at Husetís Speedway. Kotek led the remaining two laps and picked up the win.

Tate Eining finished in the second position.

Make sure you are at Husetís Speedway this Thursday, August 3 for the season championship of the Thursday Night Thriller series. There will be a $1,000 to win for the feature winner of the class with the most cars. Do not miss this exciting event with racing starting at 7:30pm.
