Derek Green won the Holley USRA Stock Car feature.

The Nobles County Speedway in Worthington, Minn., kicked off their 2018 season with the Iron Man Challenge featuring Holley USRA Stock Cars and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods headlining the action with Cook Racing Supplies USRA Hobby Stocks and USRA Tuners also on the card.

Green, the defending Iron Man Challenge champion for the Holley USRA Stock Cars, parlayed an outside front row start into his first series win of the year. The Granada, Minn., racer held off Luke Saathoff for the victory with Dylan Fitzpatrick, Lynn Panos and Colby Klassen following close behind in third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

Current points leader Dillion Anderson settled for a sixth-place paycheck, defending Holley USRA Stock Car national champ Elijah Zevenbergen was seventh, Darrin Korthals came home eighth, Spenser Kalass nabbed the ninth spot and Kyle Falck rounded out the top ten.

While Anderson continues to lead the Holley USRA Stock Car points battle, Panos trails by just 28 points (402 to 374) and Green is just one spot back with 373 markers. Korthals (342), Falck (295), Jesse Brown (291), Dean Cornelius (289), Brett Heeter (237), Steve Jackson (232) and Zevenbergen (228) complete the top ten heading into the next event on Sunday, June 17, at the Mason City Motor Speedway in Mason City, Iowa.

In Out-Pace USRA B-Mod action, Jeremiah Christensen broke through for his first win of the year, coming from the seventh spot on the 20-car starting grid and beating two other Sioux Falls, S.D., drivers--Ray Feltman and Dave Kennedy—to the finish line.

Polesitter Justin Luinenberg held on for a fourth-place finish while Thor Anderson, Dan Hovden, Cole Christensen, Chris Goetz, Tyler Tesch and Devon Schlumbohm completed the top ten.

Jeremiah Christensen won the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod feature.

Unlike the fendered division, the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod standings show Hovden with a huge lead over Ben Moudry (687 to 520). Cole Suckow sits third with 446 points, followed by Jeremiah Christensen (422), Cole Christensen (406), Dustin Kruse (314), Cole Denner (304), J.C. Morton (282), Cody Jolly (279) and Alex Williamson (276).

Four-time and defending Cook Racing Supplies USRA Hobby Stock national champion Dustin Gulbrandson of Sioux Falls, S.D., raced from the 12th starting spot to take the victory over a field of 34 entries with Malik Sampson coming from 14th to claim the runner-up position. Nick Schilling, Austin Jahnz and Dawson DeBoer rounded out the top five.

Dustin Gulbrandson won the Cook Racing Supplies USRA Hobby Stock feature.

Kent Miller of Milroy, Minn., was triumphant in the USRA Tuner season opener at the 1/4-mile dirt track. Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national points leader Nate Coopman held off Stephaine Coopman for second, with Bubba Brown fourth and Austin Friedrich fifth.
