Worthington Nationals set for this Saturday and Sunday

WORTHINGTON, Minn. — This Saturday and Sunday, June 30 and July 1, the Nobles County Speedway will host the Worthington Nationals presented by Jaycox Implement and Pepsi of Pipestone at the 1/4-mile semi-banked oval in Worthington, Minn. USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks will be headlining the event both days.

Dates: Saturday, June 30, and Sunday, July 1.
Sponsors: Jaycox Implement and Pepsi of Pipestone.
Rules: USRA and NCSI rules (no track points given).
Registration: USRA Modified $80, USRA Stock Car $65, USRA B-Mod $55, USRA Hobby Stock $55, Sportsman $45, Hornet $30. Registration is good for both nights, does not include driver.
Pit Fee: One night $27, Two night $45.
Grandstand: Adults $13, Kids ages 13-17 $9, Children 12 and under FREE. Free hot dogs for kids.

SATURDAY NIGHT, JUNE 30
Time: Hot Laps 5:15 p.m. Racing 6:00 p.m.
Procedure: Full night of racing with hot laps and features, utilizing the weekly Nobles County Speedway format with draw and redraw. The top eight finishers will be locked into the trophy dash on Sunday night to determine the starting line-up for the A-Main. Outlaw Micro-Sprints will also be running.

SUNDAY NIGHT, JULY 1
Time:
Hot Laps 5:15 p.m. Racing 6:00 p.m.
Procedure: The eight drivers qualified from Saturday in each class will draw to determine the their starting position in the trophy dash. The finishing order of the trophy dash will determine the starting order for the A-Main (winner will start pole) and the winner of the trophy dash will receive a five-foot-tall trophy. Drivers not qualified or not in attendance on Saturday will run heat races and B-Main (if needed) to determine the final eight starting positions. Each A-Main will consist of only 16 cars. Nobles County Speedway will determine if B-Mains are needed.
