Midway Speedway back in action this Friday

LEBANON, Mo. - In the chase for the 2008 season titles, the Midway Speedway will be hosting another exciting race night this Friday, July 18, for the USRA Modifieds, Super Stocks, Factory Stocks, B-Mods, Bombers, and 305 Winged Sprints.

'Who is going to win?' has been the question all season long at the Midway Speedway as many new faces have visited the winners circle, and many first-time winners have also joined.

The Modifieds of the USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series have provided not only a lot of power, but also a very competitive field.

Going into this weekend Jimmy Willis of Macks Creek takes over the points lead with a nine-marker lead over 2005 track champion Jamie Ragland.

Defending track champion Eric Hudson of Rolla leads with three wins while riding third in the track standings.

Ragland has two wins while single wins have been posted by Justin Neuman, Rex Merritt, Tony Jackson Jr., Jesse Stovall and Johnny Bone Jr.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m. sharp.
