Chase for Midway Speedway crown continues Friday

LEBANON, Mo. - The 2008 chase for the Midway Speedway championships continue this Friday night with action in the USRA Modifieds, Super Stocks, Factory Stocks, B-Mods, Bombers and 305 Winged Sprints.

Coming off a very successful night last Friday, the parity of the action continues as current point leaders include Jimmy Willis of Macks Creek (USRA Modifieds), Tim Petty of Niangua (Factory Stocks), Ben Newell of Stoutland (Super Stocks), Jason Otto of Richland (B-Mods), Brandon Knudtson of Lebanon (Bombers) and J.P. Compton of Crane (305 Winged Sprints).

Gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7 and racing at 8.

The Midway Speedway will not be racing on Friday, Aug. 29, due to the Larry Phillips Memorial at I-44 Speedway that weekend.
