Three USRA classes featured at West Union in 2009

WEST UNION, Iowa - Upper Iowa Speedway promoter Chuck Ihde has come to a verbal agreement with the Fayette County Fairboard in West Union, Iowa, to bring races back to the Fayette County Speedway in 2009.

Opening night will be Friday, May 1.

USRA-sanctioned divisions at the 3/8-mile high-banked oval include USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mods and USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars. The track will also run unsanctioned A-Modifieds and Flyers during their weekly race program.

Special events currently penciled in for the 2009 season include the USMTS National Tour Modifieds and Deery Bros Late Models.
