Midway Speedway announces test 'n' tune sessions

LEBANON, Mo. - In preparing for the upcoming 2009 racing season, the Midway Speedway in Lebanon, Mo., has announced the practice days and times for the different classes.

Practice days will be on April 4, 11 and 18 (Saturdays) with the pit gates opening up at 11 a.m. each time.

Practice on the big track oval will be from 1-3 p.m. This will include open practices for any type of Stock Car, Modified, Late Model or Sprint Car.

The Mini-Midway will see action with go-kart practice going from 3-5 p.m.

The newest addition on the Midway grounds will be the new motocross track which will start practice from 5 p.m. until dusk. This will be for motorcycles, four-wheelers and ATVs.

Pit passes will be $10 per person each practice date with admission to the grandstands free.

The fifth full season of racing at the Action Track of the Ozarks will begin on Friday night, April 24, with USRA Modifieds, B-Mods, Factory Stocks, Bombers, Late Model Sportsmans and Pure Stocks with action starting at 8 p.m. sharp.
