Rain forces cancellation at Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - A late morning and constant afternoon rain has forced the cancellation of racing action at the Springfield Raceway for Saturday, May 23.

Action will resume next Saturday night, May 30, with a regular racing program featuring the USRA Modifieds, Late Models, Sport Mods, Bombers and Legends Cars. Also included will be Round 1 of the spectator drags.

Gates will open at 5:00 with hot laps starting at 6:15 and racing at 7:00 sharp.
