Hobby Stocks, B-Mods and All Stars a can’t miss at Huset’s

BRANDON, S.D. - There will be no better way for fans and drivers to start the month of August, than take in an exciting two-night showdown at Huset’s Speedway.

The Brandon, S.D., speedplant is hosting the All Star Circuit of Champions sprint cars. The August 1-2 showdown will pay the top sprint car stars of the country $5,000 to win on Saturday, then a whopping $10,000 for the victory on Sunday. With drivers from all over the country adding the race to their schedules, the show already promises to be a can’t miss event.

Joining the card for the two nights of action will be the USRA Hobby Stocks and USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mods. The Saturday and Sunday events will be treated at two separate shows. A draw, redraw lineup procedure will be used, and cars that have yet to attend Huset’s this season will be allowed to draw, giving an ‘outside invader’ the chance to swipe the cash.

Even better for the competitors, Huset’s Speedway is sweetening the deal with major incentives for the drivers. For both the Hobby Stocks and B-Mods, the purse will increase to $400 to win if 20 cars check in for the class. If 30 cars are ready to duel it out, the payout soars to a monstrous $800 for the winner.

Grandstand tickets for the two-day event are general admission and $25 for adults each night. Juniors (age 8-14) are just $5 and kids 7 and under are free. Or, fans can save money with the purchase of a weekend pass. Those are available at Sturdevant’s Auto Parts stores and Lewis Drug Stores in the Sioux Falls and Brandon, SD area. Weekend passes are good for both nights of action, at a discounted price of just $40. However, fans are encouraged to hurry to the savings, because only a limited number of weekend passes are available.
