OSKALOOSA, IA (March 17, 2000) — KBOE Radio in Oskaloosa Iowa has announced that they will be airing a new locally produced one hour program called “Racetalk”.

Racetalk will be sponsored by McCroskey GM Discount Center in Chariton, Iowa and will debut on Tuesday, April 4th at 7 p.m.

McCroskey GM Discount Center’s “Racetalk” will be hosted by Knoxville Raceway announcer and former radio personality Mike Roberts. Guest co-host will include Barry Johnson of Dirt Late Model and Hawkeye Racing News, Perry Bell of Dirt Digest, Kathy Bell of Dirt Digest, Knoxville Raceway announcer Tony Bokhoven, and many others.

The program will feature all forms of racing and drivers will stop by or call in. “Perhaps the most exciting part of the show will be that the listeners will be able to call in to the program and ask any questions and/or make comments”, Roberts said. “This is exciting for us. With all the sports talk shows around, not one covers racing well, this show covers nothing but racing.”

McCroskey GM Discount Center’s “Racetalk” will air on KBOE-FM (104.9) each Tuesday night from 7-8 p.m. following the MRN program NASCAR live hosted by Eli Gold.
