Waits, Schmitt, Jones, McDaniel claim 2008 USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series titles
In what may be a first in organized racing, three of the four drivers that captured the USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series titles in 2007 repeated the feat in 2008. Brad Waits captured his second straight USRA Modified crown, while the same can be said for Tom Schmitt (USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars) and Matt Jones (USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mods). Folk tops big field of USRA Modifieds at Caney Valley Speedway
The fans got their money's worth Saturday night at the Caney Valley Speedway during the second night of racing at the newly-refurbished facility in Southern Kansas. In the USRA Modified feature, Justin "Whitey" Folk and Johnny Bone Jr. battled through lapped traffic. After a lap 18 caution, Folk was able to hold on to the lead and take the win, his 15th of the season and first at CVS. read more

Caney Valley Speedway opens with a bang!
Finally the day had come for the track to make its debut after all the hard work that had been done, and there were plenty of people there to see it. With a packed grandstand and over 60 cars, the night went as well as it could have for a first race. read more

The Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan., will reopen this Saturday, Aug. 2, for the first weekly racing program at the 1/4-mile semi-banked clay oval in Southern Kansas for the first time since April 2004. USRA Modifieds will headline the program. read more
