Hovden, Donlan, Ludeking and Riehle Rule Saturday Night at Winneshiek Raceway
DECORAH, Iowa (May 16, 2026) — Four exciting USRA divisions invaded the high-banked black dirt of Winneshiek Raceway on Saturday night as fans packed the grandstands for another thrilling evening of racing action in Decorah, Iowa.
The evening featured the Mesilla Valley Transportation USRA Tuners, PEM Racing Gears & Drivetrain USRA B-Mods, QuickCar Racing Products USRA Hobby Stocks, and Christie Door Company USRA Stock Cars, with plenty of side-by-side battles and hard-fought victories throughout the night.
The Mesilla Valley Transportation USRA Tuners kicked off the feature racing program, and it was Dillon Riehle charging to victory lane from the outside of the front row. Dalton Fels followed him across the stripe in second while Perry Kessel claimed third. Katie Stahl put together a solid run in fourth, and Tom Kessel rounded out the top-five finishers.
The PEM Racing Gears & Drivetrain USRA B-Mod feature saw one of the hottest drivers in the region continue his winning ways. Dan Hovden stormed from the sixth starting position to score another impressive victory. Ben Moudry raced his way to a runner-up finish while Taylor Skauge crossed the line in third. Kyle Anderson claimed fourth, and Philip Ihde completed the top five.
The QuickCar Racing Products USRA Hobby Stocks delivered another entertaining main event as Joshua Ludeking powered his way from the fifth starting spot to pick up the win. Steve Larson finished second while B.J. Dahl charged from seventh to finish third. Ryan Crooks drove to a fourth-place finish, and Rylan Curtin rounded out the top five.
Closing out the night were the ground-pounding Christie Door Company USRA Stock Cars, and the fans were treated to another exciting battle. Kevin Donlan parked his machine in victory lane after holding off Mitch Hovden, who finished second. Jason Schlangen advanced from sixth to third at the finish while Brady Link came home fourth. Taylor Donlan rounded out the top-five finishers.
