Green, Sheets Top Strong Iron Man Fields at Lakeside Speedway

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (May 15, 2026) — A strong field of competitors rolled into Lakeside Speedway for the USRA Iron Man Series, with 21 B-Mods and 29 Stock Cars signed in for a big night of racing action.

The KS Engineering Iron Man B-Mods driven by Harris Auto Racing were first to take the speedway, and Jon Sheets charged from the seventh starting spot to capture the victory. Ethan Isaacs chased him to the checkered flag in second, followed by Chad Clancy, Stephen Clancy and Kerry Davis rounding out the top five.

In the ground-pounding KS Engineering Iron Man Stock Cars driven by Terminator Chassis, Derek Green was the class of the field. Starting on the pole, Green powered his way to the win. Kacey Shields made a strong run from eighth to finish second, with Jaylen Wettengel third, Myles Michehl fourth and Chris Dishong fifth.

The Iron Man warriors now turn their attention to Hancock County Speedway in Britt, Iowa, on Friday, May 22.
