Reyes takes home $500 payday while Sharpensteen and Robinson win at Route 66 Motor Speedway

AMARILLO, Tex. (May 9, 2026) - Route 66 Motor Speedway kicked off another night of racing action in Amarillo, Texas, with 119 cars checking in through the back gate and a $500-to-win USRA Tuner Special highlighting the program.

The Mel Hambelton Ford USRA Modifieds were first to do battle, and AJ Sharpensteen powered his way to victory from the eighth starting spot. Sammy McNabb came home second, with Braden Howell third, Vince Lucas fourth and Logan Cabbell rounding out the top five.

The $500-to-win USRA Tuners then hit the speedway, where Rayden Reyes captured the Happy Gilmore check and the big payday. Billy Nalley finished second, Michael Latham was third, Israel Reyes charged from 11th to fourth, and Mekayla Wynne came from 10th to complete the top five.

In the Sunoco Race Fuels USRA Limited Mods A-Main, Dustin Robinson parked it in victory lane. Jeffrey Kaup finished second, Ryan Reeves was third, Coleten Agee took fourth, and LJ Moore rounded out the top five.
