Parker, Jones Sr. Dominate Friday Night Action at Electric City Speedway
BUTLER, Mo. (May 15, 2026) — Electric City Speedway hosted an exciting night of racing action Friday night featuring the QuickCar Racing Products USRA Hobby Stocks and Mesilla Valley Transportation USRA Tuners. Fans were treated to side-by-side racing and strong fields as drivers battled for victory on the Missouri dirt oval.
The first feature of the night belonged to the QuickCar Racing Products USRA Hobby Stocks, where Mike Parker put together a flawless performance. Parker jumped out front early and never looked back, leading all 12 laps of the A-Main to score the feature win. Brad Hogg crossed the line in second while Cole Morrison completed the podium finishers in third.
The final division to hit the speedway was the Mesilla Valley Transportation USRA Tuners, and it was another dominant performance at the front of the field. Rob Jones Sr. controlled the race from start to finish, leading all 12 laps on his way to victory. Karl Ford raced his way to a strong runner-up finish while Eric Schmidt completed the top three. Jeremy Byfield finished fourth, and David Matney rounded out the top five.
Next up at Electric City Speedway will be a huge night of racing action on May 22 as the POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars invade Butler, Missouri. Joining the program will be the USRA B-Mods and Midwest Mods for another exciting night of dirt track racing action.
