Hovden, Fels, Dettman and Boyer Best the Field at Winneshiek Raceway

DECORAH, Iowa (May 9, 2026) — The Olsgard Auto Challenge took center stage Saturday night at Winneshiek Raceway, with four USRA divisions putting on a strong show for the fans.

In the Mesilla Valley Transportation USRA Tuners, Dalton Fels led all 12 laps to score the feature win. Perry Kessel finished second, Dillon Riehle third, Katie Stahl fourth and Jentry Bravener fifth.

Derek Dettman topped the USRA Stock Cars from the pole, while Jason Schlangen charged from ninth to finish second. Kyle Falck came from eighth to third, followed by Kevin Donlan and Taylor Donlan.

Junior Boyer captured the QuickCar Racing Products USRA Hobby Stock feature, with Steve Larson second, Scott Spilde third, Joshua Ludeking fourth and Arthur Schott fifth.

The night wrapped up with the PEM Racing Gears & Drivetrain USRA B-Mods, where 2025 National Champion Dan Hovden raced from sixth to victory. Kyle Anderson, Taylor Skauge, Dale Schwamman and Ashton Pankow completed the top five.

Winneshiek Raceway returns Friday, May 16, for DECO Night featuring all four weekly divisions plus the Crawford Lawn Maintenance ECO Mods. More information is available at winneshiekraceway.com and on Facebook.
