King Wins in Convincing Fashion; Abbey Inherits Night 2 King of America Victory After Post-Race Disqualification

Wheatland, MO (March 27, 2026) — Night #2 of the 15th Annual King of America at Lucas Oil Speedway delivered another action-packed evening for the Summit Racing Equipment USMTS presented by RacinDirt.com, as the KS Engineering Ironman Series continued to shine on one of the sport’s biggest stages.

In the KS Engineering Ironman B-Mods driven by Harris Auto Racing, it was Cody King putting on a charge fans won’t soon forget. Rolling off from the sixth starting position, King wasted no time slicing through the field. By lap four, he had worked his way to the front and once out front, he was untouchable.

King maintained complete control the rest of the way, fending off all challengers to secure the $1,000 victory and add his name to the list of winners during King of America XV.

In the KS Engineering Ironman Stock Cars driven by Terminator Chassis, the outcome came in dramatic fashion after the checkered flag. Jeffrey Abbey crossed the line without leading a lap, but following a post-race disqualification to Fennewald, Abbey was awarded the victory.

While not the preferred way to win, Abbey made the most of the opportunity.

“It’s never a way to win, but we’ll take them however we can get them nowadays,” Abbey said in victory lane.

Abbey officially takes home the $1,000 payday along with the trophy in a night that showcased both the intensity and unpredictability of Ironman Series competition.

With two nights now in the books, all eyes turn to Championship Saturday as the 15th Annual King of America reaches its grand finale. The stakes rise significantly with championship honors and big money on the line, promising another unforgettable night of racing action.

Fans can expect the best of the best as drivers leave it all on the track in pursuit of King of America glory.
