Westover, Reeves, Moseley and Wynne cash in at Route 66 Motor Speedway
AMARILLO, Texas (May 2, 2026) — A stout field of 109 cars checked in at the back gate Saturday night at Route 66 Motor Speedway as four USRA divisions battled for victory.
The Mesilla Valley Transportation USRA Tuners kicked off the feature action with Mekayla Wynne racing to the win. Michael Latham charged from sixth to finish second, followed by Bradix Greer, Jeffery Thompson and Billy Nalley.
In Edelbrock USRA Stock Car action, Rob Moseley cashed in for the $400 payday. Josh Cain made a big run from 14th to second, while RC Combs finished third. Carbie McClearen also marched forward from 15th to fourth, and Loren East completed the top five.
Ryan Reeves was the driver to beat in the Bryke Racing USRA Limited Mods, starting sixth and driving to the $500 win and trophy. Jeffrey Kaup finished second, Ryan Penrod landed on the podium in third, Scott Shipley was fourth and LJ Moore came from 15th to fifth.
The night wrapped up with the Mel Hambelton Ford USRA Modifieds, where Kale Westover collected the $1,000 top prize. AJ Sharpensteen kept pressure on the No. 15W throughout the 20-lap main event, but Westover held strong for the victory. Kale Murphrey finished third, Braden Elliott fourth and Ronnie Yanacsek rounded out the top five.
