Chisholm Goes Back to Back at MTS

FOUNTAIN CITY, Wisconsin (May 1, 2026) - Joe Chisholm opened up a big lead early Friday, and was never seriously challenged in securing his second straight Kevko Racing Northern Lights Modified Series Presented by Real Racing Wheels win. The 25 lap feature ran caution free.

Keith Foss lessened Chisholm's lead late, coming home second. Parker Hale rolled to the checkers third. He also collected $250 in products from Kevko Racing. Jacob Blees and Kyle Brown rounded out the top five.

Heat race wins went to Blees, Brown and Chisholm. The Dairyland Showdown concludes Saturday with $3,000 on the line for the winner.

Chisholm's two wins have given him a $1,000 bonus already. Should he win tomorrow and sweep the weekend, the bonus money jumps to $5,000.

Unrelated to the Modified portion of the weekend, Mississippi Thunder Speedway opened up the new state of the art Lightning Speedway. The 1/5 mile dirt oval sits adjacent to the midway and ran three classes, micro-sprints, R-Box and BP Wings. They will also be in action tomorrow alongside the headlining divisions.
