Sanders, Reeves and Reyes Secure Saturday Night Victories at Route 66 Motor Speedway

AMARILLO, Texas (April 18, 2026) - The fans at Route 66 Motor Speedway were treated to a great night of racing action on Saturday night as 122 total cars filled the pit area with the MSD Performance USRA Modifieds, Performance Bodies USRA Limited Mods, and Kevko Racing USRA Tuners all putting on exciting feature events.

A stout field of 22 MSD Performance USRA Modifieds checked in for battle, and it was six-time USMTS National Champion Rodney Sanders once again showing why he is one of the toughest competitors in the country. “The Rocket” charged from the 3rd starting position to capture the feature win in dominant fashion. Jason Langford crossed the line in the runner-up position while AJ Sharpensteen put together an impressive drive from 8th to finish 3rd. Brayden Kongdara came home 4th with Logan Cabbell rounding out the top five.

The Performance Bodies USRA Limited Mods saw 28 competitors on hand, and it was Ryan Reeves sailing to victory lane from the 4th starting spot. Ryan Penrod put together one of the drives of the night, advancing from 11th to finish 2nd. JP Vasquez Jr. completed the podium in 3rd while Scott Shipley and Garret Ratliff completed the top five.

The final USRA division of the evening featured 16 Kevko Racing USRA Tuners, and it was Michael Reyes picking up the first victory of the season after starting from the 6th position. Israel Reyes finished in the 2nd spot while Kade Raulston crossed the line in 3rd. Austin Lindsey finished 4th with Bradix Greer rounding out the top five finishers.
