Electric City Speedway Sees Sheets, Parker, and Ford Visit Victory Lane
BUTLER, Missouri (May 1, 2026) - The Electric City Speedway hosted three exciting United States Racing Association divisions Friday night.
The first A-Main of the evening featured the QuickCar Racing Products USRA Hobby Stocks, and it was Mike Parker leading from the drop of the green flag. Starting from the pole position, Parker kept his machine out front all feature long to secure the victory. Dustin Campbell pressured the No. 19 throughout the race but was unable to find a way around the leader. James Barker completed the podium in third while Justin Anderson crossed the line fourth and Cole Morrison rounded out the top five.
In the PEM Racing Gears & Drivetrain division, Jon Sheets put on a dominant performance, leading all 15 laps en route to his second victory of the season at Electric City Speedway. Michael Taylor III once again finished runner-up to the No. 8s machine while Troy Carlyle came home third. Rylan Gibbs finished fourth with Kenny Hubbard completing the top five.
The nightcap belonged to the Mesilla Valley Transportation USRA Tuners where Karl Ford was untouchable, leading all 12 laps to score the win. Steven Seay threw everything he had at Ford in the closing laps but came up just short at the checkered flag. Zach Bean drove to a third-place finish while Tommy Carter finished fourth and Jeremy Byfield rounded out the top five.
