Burrell scores second win while Butler and Brownlee shine at Creek County
SAPULPA, Oklahoma (May 2, 2026) — The Creek County Speedway was packed with race teams and fans on Saturday night as 141 entries rolled through the pit gate for another exciting night of racing action on the quarter mile slightly banked dirt oval. Three USRA-sanctioned divisions were in attendance with strong fields and competitive racing throughout the evening.
The first USRA feature to hit the speedway was the Bryke Racing USRA B-Mod division. Tyler Butler powered his way to victory after holding off a hard-charging Cody Whitworth throughout the main event. Butler remained smooth and consistent in traffic to secure the win while Whitworth settled for second. Kyle Goforth crossed the line in third followed by Brent Bates in fourth, while Ray Roberts rounded out the top five finishers.
Next on the track was the 20-lap feature event for the Longacre Racing Products USRA Modifieds. Mickey Burrell continued his strong 2026 campaign by capturing his second victory of the season. Burrell outran a stout field of Modified competitors and kept Jarret Dotson behind him in the closing laps to claim the win. Eric Redman drove to a third-place finish while Kendall Shultz came home fourth and Lane Traster completed the top five.
Closing out the night for the USRA divisions was the Mesilla Valley Transportation USRA Tuners feature. Braxton Brownlee led the field to green from the pole position and never looked back on his way to victory in the #41B machine. David Wolford stayed within striking distance throughout the race but had to settle for second at the checkered flag. Jacob O'Hara finished third, Shawn Brownlee came home fourth, and Ashley O'Hara rounded out the top five.
With 141 total entries filling the pit area, the fans at Creek County Speedway were treated to a full night of exciting racing action and strong competition across all divisions.
