Campbell, Dunwoodie, Cadwallader, Bartel, and Moore clinch victories at the I-35 Speedway

WINSTON, Mo. (May 2, 2026) —Team Spray Foam Night at the Races brought over 75 cars to the historic I-35 Speedway for and early May night of racing action.

Lightening would get it done again in the USRA Tuners as Samuel Moore becomes our first repeat winner on the season. Moore, who got his first feature of the year back on March 28th, would have to hold off a fast field of drivers, as heat race #1 and #2 winners Chris Lewis and JR Curtis would finish second and third, respectively. Hunter Throckmorton and Scott Beagle would follow in fourth and fifth.

Much like the USRA Tuners, the USRA Hobby Stocks also had their first repeat winner of the year, showing how competitive all the classes can be at I-35. It was Gavin Bartel doubling up his wins on the season, dominating both heat #1 and the feature event. Last weeks feature winner, Anthony Whitham, would follow in second, followed by our points leader coming into the night, Tyler Brown, in third. Dakota Phelps and John Snyder would round out our top five. Heat #2 winner AJ Sayers, a 3 time feature winner last year, would suffer some mechanical problems in the feature, ending his night early.

A smaller field of B-Mods would still put on a fantastic show, as Adam Dunwoodie and Michael Taylor III would battle it out. Dunwoodie, our points leader and defending track champion, held off heat race winner Taylor III to pick up his first feature of the year. John Ross had a great run in his #64 machine, including leading early in the feature, followed in third, with Dalton Strohl and Tyler Turner rounding out the top five.

USRA Stock Cars fired off next, bringing a 12-car field on track, and perhaps our most competitive class of the night. Five events in and we now have had five different drivers in Molle Auto Group Victory Lane, with Tyler Cadwallader adding his name last night. Cadwallader had to hold off heat race #1 winner Chris Dishong and outside pole sitter Jason Estes, who followed in second and third. Slade Sedgwick came home fourth, followed by Corey Myers in fifth. Heat race # winner Jake Hoover finished in seventh.

The USRA Modifieds followed, where Cole Campbell pulled away early, and survived several restarts for his first feature win of the year. Nic Bidinger would follow in second, with defending USRA Modifed National Champion and heat #1 winner Houston Johnson in third. Steven Glenn finished in fourth, with heat race #2 winner Brad Johnson finishing in fifth.

Thank you all once again for another amazing night of dirt track racing at its best. Thank you to our drivers, officials, crews, sponsors, and of course the fans for all you do to make this all happen. Special thank you to Mike Johnson as he works hard to maintain our facilities, especially as he continues the process of repainting our bleachers. Next up is a special evening, with the Cletus “Mudcat” Murray and Darrel Whit Memorials. We hope to see you all next Saturday night.
