Carroll, Garner Cash Happy Gilmore Checks at Lucas Oil Speedway

WHEATLAND, Missouri (May 2, 2026) — The Slick Mist Shootout on The Oval took center stage Saturday night at Lucas Oil Speedway with two USRA divisions battling for $750 top prizes in Wheatland, Missouri.

The PEM Racing Gears & Drivetrain USRA B-Mods brought a stout 34-car field, while the Edelbrock USRA Stock Cars added 13 entries to the program.

In USRA B-Mod action, JT Carroll charged from the ninth starting spot to collect the victory and the Happy Gilmore check. Ryan Gillmore also made a strong run through the field, coming from 10th to finish second. Jon Sheets crossed the line third, Cayden Stacye was fourth and Terry Schultz rounded out the top five.

The Edelbrock USRA Stock Cars saw William Garner take command from the drop of the green and lead all 20 laps to score the $750 payday and his own Happy Gilmore check. Mason Beck kept the pressure on but settled for runner-up honors, while Grayson McKinney finished third, Darrell Hurt was fourth and Justin Custer completed the top five.

The Slick Mist Shootout delivered another strong night of USRA racing action on The Oval at Lucas Oil Speedway.
