The 2012 campaign at Willamette Speedway in USRA Modified competition witnessed Kyle Yeack win the his first title in the division in dominating fashion by a total of 100 points.

Craig Hanson emerged victorious in a USRA Modified feature Saturday that saw more twists and turns than a country back road.

With the weather looking bright and excitement in the air it looks as if the 2012 season will come to a close this Saturday, Oct. 6, for the Fall Classic.

The final points race of the 2012 season will take place at Willamette Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 22.

On Saturday, Sept. 15, defending Grays Harbor Raceway USRA Modified champion Joe German from Wishkah made the trip down to Willamette Speedway to take the paycheck back to the Evergreen State.

This coming Saturday, Aug. 25, It will be the USRA Modified drivers’ turn to race in memory of the man who operated the historic 1/3-mile for several decades.
